The Whaddon Masters is played over four rounds at Whaddon Golf Centre. The prize for the lowest total score is the fabled and highly desirable Green Jacket. There's a cut after two rounds; those below the cut enter a separate competition, playing for the much sought-after Plate.

The Green Jacket Winner

Max Rushden won the 2006 event, overhauling the early leader Rob Hargraves during the last two rounds — thanks to a consistently high standard of performance throughout but in particular a blistering 1 under par 26 in Round 3.

The Plate Winner

Clive Sanders entered the Plate with a four stroke lead and never looked like losing it, burning off his challengers with an emphatic display of long putting and chipping from the fringe in the first few holes of Round 3.

Nearest The Pin

Guy Wilby, an early contender for the main competition, first to go in the Nearest The Pin competition, delivered his tee shot with such pinpoint accuracy that none of the subsequent players could come close.
