The inaugural Good Fryder Cup was held on the 18th April 2003 at its spiritual (and indeed only) home, the Whaddon Golf Club. The Good Fryder Cup is a matchplay affair contested between the Cambridge team and the Shelford team. Similarities to the less famous Ryder Cup are coincidental.
The first winners of the trophy were the Cambridge team, and well-deserved too. By a withering margin of 8 1/2 points to 7 1/2. Good lord.
These are the pictures. Thanks to the boy Stanton for holding the camera steady. They open in new windows.
